This eight week interactive workshop is designed to jump start your career.
Each session will start with a discussion on a topic relating to the elements of business success. Such as getting good digital images of your work; Website Design & The Internet, Social Networking, Copyright, Resume, Artist Statement and Bio, Marketing and Approaching the Press, Grants, Residencies, Fellowships and more. We will address your goals as an artist, the progress you are making and there will be an optional critique of your work at the end of each session all designed to give you the information
and motivation you need for success!
What you will need.
1. To be in the New York Tri-state area with the ability to get to Astoria, Queens, New York City
(via public-N or Q Subway lines, M60 or M101 Buses-or private transportation).
2. To have decided to go professional with your work, to start marketing and getting it out there.
3. Images of your work or transportable originals
4. An open mind
