Maryland Hall is situated one mile from downtown Annapolis, the capital city of Maryland. Exhibition Space at Maryland Hall consists of two professional gallery spaces: the Chaney and the AIR galleries, as well as alternative exhibition spaces. An outdoor sculpture garden is located on The Founders Green. Exhibitions at Maryland Hall reflect the artwork of local and regional artists, in both contemporary and traditional media. Artists must be Fifty-five years or older and Residents of North San Diego County or Orange County.

Project Grant

Through the Artist Outreach Project, The Kenneth A. Picerne Foundation awards grants to accomplished visual, performing and literary artists, age 55 and older. These grants support the artists’ efforts to give back to their community. Artists awarded the grant spend six to eight hours a week with an underserved group and non-profit organization of their choice, sharing their talent in arts-based services that are both educational and therapeutic....

Fellowships


EAF: Emerging Artists Fellowship

Emerging Artist Fellowship recipients are granted financial support in the amount of $5,000, a residency in the outdoor studio (beginning in March 2011), and access to facilities, materials, equipment and technical assistance to create a work for the annual Emerging Artist Fellowship Exhibition. Fellows are also given the administrative assistance to do additional fundraising for their project, procure in-kind support and pursue
future placement for their work.
