ART & SCIENCE COLLABORATIONS
Founded in 1988, Art & Science Collaborations, Inc. (ASCI) was one of the first art-sci-tech member organizations in the USA. Established primarily as a network for artists who either use or are inspired by science and technology, ASCI has become a magnet for some of the best examples of this type of contemporary art and for scientists and technologists wishing to collaborate.

ART IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST
Art in the Public Interest (API) is a nonprofit organization that supports the belief that the arts are an integral part of a healthy culture, and that community-based arts provide significant value both to communities and artists.

ART TIMES
Founded in 1984, provides a bimonthly and resource for the fine and performing arts. Copies rae distributed most heavily in the Metropolitan New York, and Hudson Valley Regions as well as the adjoining states of NJ, CT, PA and MA. ART TIMES is a free publication available at performing arts centers, galleries, schools, museums - basically wherever the arts take place. Their art editorials, reviews, critiques, short fiction, poetry, opportunities for the arts, Art Book/CD/Video reviews, essays on dance, theater, film and music are of interest across the country. The extensive calendar is more specific to the cultural corridor of the Northeast region of the US. Art Times online provides additional essays, opportunities listings, calendar listings and resources.

BREAD & ROSES CULTURAL PROJECT
Bread and Roses is the not-for-profit cultural arm of New York's Health and Human Service Union, 1199/SEIU. Its 220,000 predominantly Latina and African American women members are employed in all job categories in health care institutions throughout the metropolitan area, New Jersey and Florida. Bread and Roses was founded in 1979 as a cultural resource for union members and students in New York City who would otherwise have little access to the arts. Special emphasis is given to programs that signify and interpret their history while generating new artistic expression.

THE CREATIVE COALITION
The Creative Coalition is the premier nonprofit, nonpartisan social and political advocacy organization of the entertainment industry. Founded in 1989 by prominent figures in the creative community, including actors Alec Baldwin, Ron Silver, Christopher Reeve, Susan Sarandon, Blair Brown and Stephen Collins, TCC educates and mobilizes leaders in the arts community on issues of public importance, specifically in the areas of First Amendment rights, arts advocacy and public education.

NEW YORK ARTISTS EQUITY ASSOCIATION
We are a resource network and a support group. Our activities and programs recognize the artist as a whole person and are designed to meet a broad range of human, social, and work-related needs. NYAEA is a non-profit 501(c)(3) politically non-partisan service organization to the visual arts.

AMERICAN SOCIETY OF PORTRAIT ARTISTS
The American Society of Portrait Artists (ASOPA) is the largest portrait artist patron organization in the world. Founded in 1987, ASOPA has patrons in all 50 states and 34 nations and is a non-profit, 501 - (c) 3 organization. ASOPA is dedicated to furthering the fine art of portraiture and supporting the individual artist. It is led by a distinguished advisory board of directors, all dedicated to developing a year-round program of portrait events across the country which will increasingly provide every possible resource for artists and persons interested in portraiture. ASOPA provides a means for networking with portrait artists and serves as a forum to provide valuable information, research materials, and links to portrait seminars.

GEN ART
Gen Art is the leading arts and entertainment organization dedicated to showcasing emerging fashion designers, filmmakers, musicians and visual artists. Gen Art produces over 100 events annually, ranging from a week-long film festival to massive star-studded fashion shows, live music performances, art exhibitions, multimedia events and much, much more.

THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF WOMEN ARTISTS
The National Association of Women Artists is a not-for-profit organization based in New York City. Founded in 1889, N.A.W.A. is the oldest professional women's fine arts organization in the United States, continually providing a forum for women artists to share ideas and exhibit their work. N.A.W.A. is dedicated to promoting women artists of all backgrounds and traditions through exhibitions, professional programs and its historic archive. N.A.W.A. offers members the opportunity to participate in curated and juried exhibitions in New York City and nationwide in addition to competing for exhibition awards totaling upwards of $10,000 annually.

NATIONAL SCULPTURE SOCIETY
National Sculpture Society is the oldest organization of professional sculptors in the United States. Leading U.S. sculptors and architects founded the NSS in the nineteenth century to "spread the knowledge of good sculpture". Today, NSS continues to encourage excellence in sculpture throughout the United States, to which end its programs are directed. Regular meetings, gala weekends, educational programs and exhibitions bring artists together for conversation and networking. NSS publications, Sculpture Review and the NSS News Bulletin, keep members and friends of sculpture abreast of the latest developments.

PASTEL SOCIETY OF AMERICA
Founded in 1972 by Flora B. Giffuni, Pastel Society of America (PSA) is the oldest, most important society in America. PSA is largely responsible for the current renaissance of pastels in American art. The society's outstanding annual exhibitions at The National Arts Club in New York are the premier event for pastel artists in this country and abroad. The society's name is synonymous with excellence. We are the undisputed leader in the medium. In recent years, PSA has been honored guests in exhibitions in Italy, France and Russia. Pastel Society of America encourages artistic advancement through prestigious awards distributed during PSA annual exhibitions.

PEN AND BRUSH INC.
Founded over 113 years ago, The Pen and Brush, Inc. is an international membership organization for women in the visual, literary and performing arts and supporting public members. Based in a historic townhouse in New York's Greenwich Village, Pen and Brush is a vibrant resource for its members, nonmember participants, and a flourishing cultural center for the surrounding community.

LONG ISLAND CITY ARTISTS
Founded in 1986 by a small group of professional visual artists, LIC Artists (LICA) was initially established to showcase its members through Open Studios Exhibitions. Thanks to the leadership of painter, Margret Dreikausen and the hard work and expertise of its early members, LICA began to grow in size and scope, becoming incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1989.Throughout its twenty-year history, LICA has strived to offer its artists a wide range of benefits and opportunities.

ALLIED ARTISTS OF AMERICA
Allied Artists of America, Inc. is a non-profit National Art Society composed of artists, sculptors, elected active members and sustaining associate members from the across the country. The offices and exhibition galleries are both located at the elegant historical landmark, The National Arts Club. The Allied Artists of America is incorporated under the provisions of section 101 (6) of the Internal Revenue Code.
