QUEENS COUNCIL ON THE ARTS
The mission of the Queens Council on the Arts is to foster and develop the arts in Queens County and to support arts organizations and individual artists in presenting their cultural diversity for the benefit of the community.

BROOKLYN COUNCIL ON THE ARTS
Brooklyn Arts Council (BAC), an arts and services organization founded in 1966, is the umbrella for Brooklyn’s range of cultural groups and individual artists working in the visual, performing, media, and literary arts. BAC helps Brooklyn’s artist population–from the experimental to those preserving and evolving traditions of cultural heritage–create and present their work. BAC ensures that thousands of people throughout Brooklyn have access to a variety of free arts programming each year. Our programs are essential to the livelihoods of thousands of artists, creative professionals, and arts organizations across the borough.

BRONX COUNCIL ON THE ARTS
Bronx Council on the Arts (BCA) is celebrating over 45 years as a private, non-profit membership organization that is the official cultural agency of Bronx County. Recognized nationally as a leading arts service organization in providing cultural services and arts programs, BCA serves a multicultural constituency in excess of 1.2 million residents. BCA provides an array of services to 5,000 artists and more than 250 arts and community-based organizations.

POLLACK KRASNER FOUNDATION
The Pollock-Krasner Foundation’s mission is to aid, internationally, those individuals who have worked as artists over a significant period of time. The Foundation’s dual criteria for grants are recognizable artistic merit and financial need, whether professional, personal or both.

THE PUFFIN FOUNDATION
The Puffin Foundation Ltd. has sought to open the doors of artistic expression
by providing grants to artists and art organizations who are often excluded from mainstream opportunities due to their race, gender, or social philosophy.

NEW YORK FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTS
New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) gives more support to artists and arts organizations in all disciplines than any other private organization in the country. For more than three decades, NYFA has nurtured the people and environment that make art happen by providing the time and resources for the creative mind and the artistic spirit to flourish. NYFA helps artists movefrom the moment of inspiration to the completed work of art.

THE VIRGINIA A. GROOT FOUNDATION
The Virginia A. Groot Foundation was established in 1988 so that artists working is three dimensions could have the opportunity to devote additional time and resource to the development of their work.

ELIZABETH GREENSHEILDS FOUNDATION
The objective of the Foundation is to promote, by charitable activities carried on by the Foundation, an appreciation of the traditional expression in painting, drawing, sculpture and the graphic arts, by aiding worthy art students, artists or sculptors who need further training or other assistance during their formative years.

CREATIVE CAPITAL FOUNDATION
Creative Capital, a nonprofit organization, acts as a catalyst for the development of adventurous and imaginative ideas by supporting artists who pursue innovation in form and/or content in the performing and visual arts, film and video, and in emerging fields. We are committed to working in partnership with the artists whom we fund, providing advisory services and professional development assistance along with multi-faceted financial aid and promotional support throughout the life of each Creative Capital project.

ADOLPH AND ESTER GOTTLIEB FOUNDATION
We have been operating since 1976 with two main purposes. We offer grants to individual visual artists through two programs: an annual Individual Support Grant and a separate program to assist visual artists in cases of catastrophic events through an Emergency Grant program. We also maintain an archive on the art and life of Adolph Gottlieb and organize exhibitions of his art and that of others. To learn more about what we do, please click on the links below.

JOHN SIMON GUGGENHEIM MEMORIAL FOUNDATION
The John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Foundation provides fellowships for advanced professionals in all fields (natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, creative arts) except the performing arts. Fellowships are not available for students. The Foundation only supports individuals. It does not make grants to institutions or organizations. The Foundation selects its Fellows on the basis of two separate competitions, one for the United States and Canada, the other for Latin America and the Caribbean.

ELIZABETH FOUNDATION FOR THE ARTS
The creative process is essential to shaping society. EFA is dedicated to providing artists across all disciplines with space, tools and a cooperative forum for the development of individual practice. We are a catalyst for cultural growth, stimulating new interactions between artists, creative communities, and the public. ARON SISKIND FOUNDATION
The Aaron Siskind Foundation's Individual Photographer's Fellowship (IPF) grant program encourages and celebrates artistic achievement in contemporary photography by supporting the creative endeavors of individual artists working in still photography and photography-based media.
