VIRTUAL CREATIVITY
AN ONLINE GALLERY EXHIBITION

The act of Creation can be an etherial experience. How does a work of art move from an idea into the physical form? The physical form may change in the process of bringing a Creation to life. Is the movement from idea into Creation a Virtual experience? When that Creation is presented to the world, it is a physical presence but in the internet age, the Creation can still be etherial or “Virtual.”

The Exhibition will be featured in Melissa Wolf Fine Arts Gallery for six months and archived online forever.
The Gallery is seeking quality art that may move from physical to the digital or for digital presentation only. Work may be 2 Dimensional, 3 Dimensional or created exclusively for the screen. Work must be for sale, NFS (Not for sale) work will not be accepted.

 

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS
SEPTEMBER 30, 2008, 12am Midnight
submissions sent after this time will not be accepted.

GUIDELINES
Artists may send up to five images in either a .jpg format for still photos or .gif format for animations.

All work must be 72dpi and 600 pixels maximum in either direction.

LABEL YOUR IMAGES AS FOLLOWS:
This is very important because it helps us keep track of your work.
Not following these guidelines may result in non-acceptance of your work and it may get lost in transit or
in our files.
Label it with your last name, underscore, the title of your work.
i.e. Smith_Sunrise.jpg
or
Smith_Sunrise.gif

Only digital images will be accepted for this exhibition.
Images must be in the above mentioned formats and labeled correctly.

FEES
$35 for the first three images
$5.00 for each images after that with a maximum of up to five images
Please Note That These Fees Are Non-Refundable.

COMMISSION
Should Your Work sell as a result of
this exhibition Melissa Wolf Fine Arts
will expect a commission of 30% of the
final sale.
