Birch Flat Files

These versatile flat files are made from natural birch plywood and are ready for finishing or painting. Drawer sides are made from solid wood, and the drawer bottoms are tempered, smooth hardboard. Drawers are 2" deep, and each drawer has two brushed aluminum handles. Birch veneer is prized as a furniture wood for its durability, its resistance to abrasion, its ability to take a stain. Create a unique and personalized piece of furniture to organize your studio. Each stackable cabinet is open at the top and has five drawers. Combine two or more drawer units, and build the storage you need. Add a bookshelf for additional storage space. Matching caps and bases are sold separately. Available in four standard sizes: Small, for papers up to 18" × 24" Medium, for papers up to 24" × 36" Large, for papers up to 30" × 42" Extra Large, for papers up to 36" × 48"

Richeson Oak Flat Files

These beautiful oak flat files are great for storing and protecting your work. Stained in golden oak with a shiny finish, they fit in most any home or office setup. Choose from three-drawer, five-drawer, and eight-drawer units. You can create a ten-drawer or fifteen-drawer unit by stacking the five-drawer units up to three high. Drawer fronts are solid oak and have brass drawer pulls. The bottoms of the drawers are made of hardboard. Drawers measure 36¾" W × 2¼" H × 25" D on the inside, which is large enough to hold full sheets of artist's paper up to 24" × 36". Files ship unassembled to save on freight charges and prevent shipping damages. They assemble easily to create a sturdy and useful piece of furniture.

Safco Giant Stacking Trays

Giant Stacking Trays provide economical flat storage for the studio, home, office, or classroom. Create a durable and efficient flat filing system at a fraction of the cost of other products. Trays can be stacked up to 5 feet high and have a hefty, 40 lb (18 kg) per tray load capacity. Inside dimensions are 2" H × 42-1/2" W 32-1/2" D, big enough to accommodate most prints, drawings, papers, etc. Materials are always visible and accessible. A top with an attractive, light oak finish is also available. Trays are made of heavy-duty, steel-reinforced polyethylene, so they will last for years to come. Use them alone or with existing filing systems for extra storage space. Trays are sold by the carton — each carton contains 2 trays.

Vertical Art Files

Store bulky mechanicals, large layouts, and original art with these low cost files. Each one consists of a sturdy steel shell, with four moveable dividers. Each compartment may then be coded or keyed for easy identification of contents. Files can be used singly, along side each other, or stacked. Constructed of heavy-gauge prime steel with gray enamel finish. Extremely rigid — will not warp, twist, or sag.

Safco Art Rack

Safco's Art Rack vertically stores and protects over-sized layouts, original art, mechanicals, and keylines. Upright materials resist warping and are easier to find than stacked or shelved materials. Tempered hardwood dividers create eight, 4¼" wide compartments. It has channels for labeling, top and bottom, allowing you to identify the contents of each storage compartment. The Art Rack has an attractive, putty-textured vinyl laminate finish. Racks can be stacked vertically, used side-by-side, or used alone. These versatile mobile combination storage cabinets have sectioned interiors to hold a variety of books, supplies, and other teaching essentials. Heavy-gauge, welded steel construction features a heavy-duty patented caster base with 5" casters (2 locking) and a recessed three-point locking handle. The 78" high models feature a top shelf. All models feature 3 adjustable shelves and a wardrobe bar. Some assembly is required to attach the handle and caster base.

Hardwood Storage Cabinet

This versatile, all-steel cutter can hang on the wall or stand freely. It holds one roll that is 9" in diameter. It has a double-edge floating knife of heavy steel. This knife stays in the proper cutting position, and cannot break or warp. A locking device holds the legs firmly. The entire unit folds flat for storage.
