Tip:
Did you know that you can cut into Aluminum with an X-acto or Mat Knife like butter? Please use only Stainless Steel for cutting. We were surprised to find that Dick Blick does not carry stainless steel T-Squares therefore you will find that we don't list them on the site.
Another Tip
Find a very fine grain sand paper (800 to 1000). Cut it and glue it to the bottom of your measuring unit with Elmer's White Glue. It will keep your ruler or measuring implement from moving on the surface guarenteeing accuracy. Don't have sandpaper right now. Use some Drafting or Art Tape instead. Remove it when you can get the sand paper and adhear it to the measuring implement.
Tip for Drafting & Measuring When you are making a mark with a pencil or pen with a ruler, template, triangle or french curve point
the point of the pencil or pen towards the template. You will get percision accuracy. In addition if your template
does not have bumps to keep it off the page, you can use drafting tape on the bottom of the template for the
same effect. This is important when you are drawing with ink to keep it from smudging when you lift it up.
