Writing for Artists: The Artists Statement

Have you hesitated to write your Artist Statement? Not sure where to begin. Think you're not good at writing? This workshop is for you. Through interactive media and writing exercises we will guide you through the process. Writing is as much of a process as making art. Our goal is not only to get you to write your Artist Statement but to get you to love the art of writing.You will not only come away with an Artist Statement you can use but a feeling that you CAN write about your art, which is one of the most important keys to your success.

Two Sundays beginning May 6, 1-4pm
May 6 & 13 - artists will need to attend both sessions
